ABOUT CRAIG SHOEMAKER
Named Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards on ABC, Craig Shoemaker's half-hour Comedy Central special has been voted by viewers as one of the network's "Top 20" stand-up specials of all time. Craig's feature film credits include the box office hit Scream 2, co-starring opposite Patrick Stewart in Safe House and his featured role opposite Daryl Hannah as her love interest in 2007's Dark Honeymoon. Last year, Craig won Best Supporting Actor at the Elevate Film Festival. His own film The Lovemaster (with Farrah Fawcett), won "Best Film" honors at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival. Craig began his career in his hometown of Philadelphia, where he honed his comedy and characters winning the "Best of Philly" Award while working as a bartender and attending Temple University. As a voiceover artist, Craig's dead-on impression of Don Knotts was featured in the film Pleasantville (which he also played the narrator) and has voiced many hit animated series including Teamo Supremo, Monsters, and I M Weasel. Craig's small screen credits include his one-hour special on Comedy Central titled, The Lovemaster... Unzipped, co-hosting duties on HBO's Comic Relief 2006, roles on numerous prime time series and he was actually Joy Behar's first guest in her Comedy Corner on ABC's The View. As a scribe, Craig most recently wrote, produced and starred in Totally Baked, a movie which was conceived from his own son asking if his dad had ever smoked marijuana. The film was distributed world-wide by Universal and can be found in all major retail outlets, including WalMart. Totally Baked was asked to be a featured film in the Austin Film Festival, was nominated for the 2008 High Times "Stony Award." It was recently re-released as a "Doobie Feature" packaged with a stand up DVD Shoemaker produced called, "420 Comedy Hour." Craig's writing credits also include ABC's Just The Ten of Us, and Real Funny. He also wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed one-man show, Who's Your Daddy? at the Coronet Theater. Inspired by his children, Craig has also published two hit children's books, now in their third printing, entitled "What You Have Now...What Your Daddy Had Then" and "What You Have Now... What Your Mommy Had Then." Additionally, Craig has had his own nationally syndicated radio show, which after only ten months on the air, won the prestigious Communicator Award "Crystal" prize. Two of Craig's stand-up comedy routines made it to the Top 10 list on XM Radio, with "Playing Army" ranking #1. His "Lovemaster" routine was voted Most Popular Comedy on XM Radio's Big Schtick Awards. In 2004, Craig opened a comedy compound and retail outlet inspired by his nonprofit organization LaughterHeals.org. The Laughter Store (www.thelaughterstore.com) is a place to find all things funny pranks & gags, CDs, books, DVDs anything to make you laugh! Craig's new stand-up DVD and CD, The Lovemaster... Unzipped was released by Universal worldwide in early 2008. The CD was featured on the front page of iTunes and was in the Billboard Top 20 for six straight weeks. Inspired by laughter, Craig has created a new forum 'Laughter Heals' where he combines his two decades of stand up into an uplifting seminar and humanistic forum to help those battling and suffering from cancer and other life threatening diseases use the gift of laughter for self -healing universal wellness. In June 2010, Craig received an honorary doctorate in humanities from his alma mater, California University of Pennsylvania, recognizing his humanitarian work performed over the last thirty years. Currently, Craig is producing and writing a feature documentary called Live to Laugh along with Mark Harris (Crash, Gods & Monsters) and Dr. Michael Beckwith (The Secret, Oprah).

His fifth album "Pick Your Battles" reached #1 on iTunes' comedy charts His third album "Dark Side of the Room" was first ever comedian Pay-What-You-Want Former weekly columnist for Sports Illustrated and the NHL Hosted "Four Quotas" on Sirius Satellite Radio for two years Hosted "The Sports Minute (Or So)", syndicated for four years on over 170 radio stations Collegehumor.com's original columnist Author of three books and contributor to several others From New York City, currently lives in Los Angeles. Bio Author, columnist, and comedian Steve Hofstetter is often called the hardest working man in show-business. With all due respect to the late James Brown. Hofstetter's national TV debut came on ESPN's Quite Frankly, where Stephen A. Smith yelled at him for three minutes. Hofstetter has also appeared on CBS' "Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson," Showtime's "White Boyz in the Hood," VH1's "Countdown," Sundance's "On the Road in America," and ABC's "Barbara Walter's Special," where he thankfully did not cry. Having appeared on networks from Boston to Miami to Denver, his local television appearances are too numerous to count, especially if you're using your fingers. One of the top booked acts on the college circuit, the original writer for collegehumor.com has also released five albums and three books. Hofstetter has written humor columns for the New York Times, SportsIllustrated.com, and NHL.com, where he publicly admitted to being a Ranger fan. After hosting Four Quotas on Sirius Satellite Radio for two seasons, Hofstetter moved to broadcast radio, and his Sports Minute (Or So) was syndicated on over 170 stations and in over 30 newspapers. Hofstetter's second live comedy album ("Cure For the Cable Guy") reached #20 on Billboard's comedy charts. His third album ("Dark Side of the Room") was the first ever pay-what-you-want" comedy album, since people were going to steal it anyway. His fourth album consisted of an hour of 100% ad-libbed material, which is, frankly, nuts. And his fifth album hit #1 on iTunes' comedy charts, which is also a bit nuts. Hofstetter's brutal tour schedule consists of over 100 colleges and dozens of clubs every year, and is fueled by an immense online popularity, tons of press, and a Prius with great gas mileage. He reached 200,000 friends on Facebook and 400,000 more on MySpace, and high shelves in grocery stores. While Hofstetter's live shows are routinely sold out, he is best known for his writing, first published at age 15, mainly to impress girls. At 18, he co-founded "Sports Jerk of the Week," an irreverent website featured by press like USA Today's Baseball Weekly, Sports Illustrated and CNN. And at 20, Hofstetter took a year off of school to head up web content for the New York Yankees. The Yankees won the World Series that year, which would have been wonderful if they hadn't beaten Hofstetter's Mets. Yes, he's also a Mets fan. Poor kid. While an undergraduate at Columbia University, Hofstetter was a well-read columnist for the Columbia Daily Spectator and a voice of the Lions. After a summer writing for Maxim, ESPN, and Sports Illustrated for Kids, Hofstetter turned his column into two books, and syndicated it in several newspapers. Without his glasses, Hofstetter als

ABOUT THIS SHOW:
100% All Spanish Comedy Show. Richard Villa was raised in the urban city of Compton, California, Richard Villa always knew he wanted to make people laugh. After completing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Richard felt there was something more out there in stored for him. While driving home one night, the neon lights of the Irvine Improv called his name. Hey Richard! Seizing the moment of amateur night, Richard grabbed the microphone, went on stage, and has not stopped since. Using stories of his childhood, Richard Villa turned what he thought were basic experiences into autobiographical satirical humor that depict life for Latinos and other minorities in the United States. Amid his newfound talent in improvisation, Richard was accepted to The Groundlings Theatre Group. With his comedy and thorough understanding of his audience, Richard Villa became the first Latino to ever host the renowned Hollywood Improv on Friday nights. Sharing the stage with various other talent such as Jeff Garcia, Carlos Mancilla, Gabriel Iglesia, Mike Epps, Orlando Jones and Dat Phan, Richard Villa quickly took over co-host duties at the Ha-Ha in North Hollywood, and the Ontario and Brea Improv. His ability to appeal to the audience earned him a special invitation by the U.S. Military to perform for the troops on the Combat Comedy Tour which included Iraq, Unit, May, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Djibouti, and Saudi Arabia. In 2005 Vanguard Cinema released Richards 1st DVD, called Richard Villa: Performing This Way. Now being hailed as the leader for the new generation of Latino Comics, Richard Villa exemplifies dedication to making other people laugh. With his television appearances on Mun2s Loco Comedy Jam, HBO Latino and Los Angeles based LATV, Richard Villa has turned his talent into animation, becoming a writer and voiceover for MTVs Latin animation, Chico y Guapo. In a personal project, Richard Villa is aiming at introducing his audience to Border Patrol Tales, a sketch comedy show depicting the social impact and influence of immigrants in the United States.

IMROV WORKSHOP w/ Jaqcuie Lowell

Description: Come enjoy a series of playful exercises designed to introduce you to the "mind game" of improv comedy in fun ways. Everyone is welcome, no prior experience necessary; and if you have done improv or standup before, you're likely to experience some new insights and perspectives.

About Jacquie Lowell:
Jacquie Lowell is an ex-New Yorker, who grew up "playing with the Viking ships" backstage and "getting Jupiter to give me rides on his electric cloud" while her opera singer father rehearsed. She has acted, sung and danced professionally; has taught improv in San Diego for the last 37 years; and has directed many local improvisational comedy performing troupes including Out On A Whim, Planet Mirth, Mission Improvible, Creative Urges, and currently, Outside the Lines. She has led creativity workshops for businesses and colleges worldwide, and loves the way improv can merge creative thinking and intuition to form laughter and fun.
